Due to the threat of rain, the Evening Campfire was held on the porch of the cabin. But that did not stop anyone from having a great time! A whole lot of Pickin' 'n Grinin'. We were told the story of Sven who could chop down a tree, with just one 'sving'! |
| - Miranda Cabin - Mountain Man Rendezvous. The view down canyon from the cabin is fantastic. When I 'went behind a bush', I found this area near the Black Powder range, that was as pretty as a picture. We picked up a burro after leaving Miranda. |
| Waiting for our turn at Black Powder. It's another Million Dollar view, looking down the canyon from Miranda. The burro was helpful in lightening our loads. There is a 50 pound weight limit on the burros. They are a lot of work to load & unload. It's just another 'Scout' with a long face and ears. |
